Austrian Association of Public Waste Management Companies

The VÖA - Association of Public Waste Management Companies was founded in 2020 and represents the interests of municipal waste management companies in Austria. Their members are serving more than the half of Austrian population. Fields of activities range from waste collection to all kind of treatment facilities, such as sorting or composting plants, and to thermal treatment plants for energy generation, amended by advisory of waste prevention and awareness raising.

Focus area are implementing circular economy and climate protection together and ensuring affordable, successful and modern services of general public interest in the long term.
