Slovenia with Portugal: TAIEX-EIR P2P Project of knowledge brokerage between the Municipality of Ljubljana and the Évora Region on waste collection and treatment, reuse and repair facilities and communication strategies

On 5 and 6 September 2018, the Portuguese municipal waste management company GESAMB serving the Évora region had a study visit to Ljubljana, Slovenia on the set-up of effective separate waste collection, repair and reuse systems within the framework of the TAIEX-EIR Peer-2-Peer Tool with the full support of Municipal Waste Europe. On 17 and 21 September 2018, experts from public waste management company SNAGA in Ljubljana visited Évora to identify barriers and opportunities in effective implementation and on 23-25 September 2019, the Slovenian experts travelled back to Évora Region in order to provide support in the implementation of the biowaste collection and treatment systems. You can access the Project report here.
