PRESENTATIONS
Municipal Waste Europe is the new European association representing municipalities responsible for waste management and their publicly owned waste management companies.
During the our discussion evening on 2 December 2009 the following urgent issues were discussed:
* The role of the municipalities in the context of producer’s responsibilities,
especially in the context of the recast WEEE-directive.
* The contributions of the waste management industry in reducing the climate change.
* Local and public sector contributions to sustainable waste management services.
* European Municipal Waste Management in the future.
