New film on waste management in Greenland
Posted on Friday 14 October 2011
The European Environment Agency (EEA) produced a 12 minutes film on how to improve the management of household waste in Greenland changing people’s behaviour and helping them in better sort household waste. Here people live in isolated communities far from treatment plants. As a consequence, Greenland has a high level of landfill and only 25% of recycling rate. Nevertheless, Greenland recycles 99% of all plastic and glass bottles.
