EGSRA Associação de Empresas Gestoras de Sistemas de Resíduos is the Portuguese association of the waste treatment management systems companies. It was established in 2009 and its purpose is to look after the interests of the national residues management system as a whole. They aim to contribute to the development of a real national waste market, where the values of management are linked with good entrepreneurial practices. EGSRA aims to carry out technical, economic and socio-environmental studies, promote its awareness to private and public companies, contribute to the development of its associates, defend its associates positions and interests when dealing with the competent authorities, disseminate the activities conducted by its members.
